The area is ideal for golfers and with only an average of 6 days rainfall between November and March you can expect sunny blue skies and temperatures in the early 70's! There are four main courses located close to Torrevieja and the following three are within a 10 minute drive of the villa:
At 25 years this is the oldest of the four golf courses and is really breathtaking in its beauty. Playing over undulating fairways to well protected greens, no two holes are alike on this superb course. A ravine comes into play on the inward part of the course and the par 5 14th and the par 3 17th are spectacular holes on a course that is always in excellent condition.
Only 2 miles from Villamartin, Campoamor was opened in 1989 and is the most panoramic of the courses in the region. Expansive fairways, excellent greens and the lakes deceive the player somewhat, making this a long and testing course with 6 "dog legs" to keep you on your toes! Campoamor has a new majestic clubhouse and restaurant.
